Well done to our eight Duke of Edinburgh Gold students who completed their expedition this week. After a years delay and days of planning and preparation the students had to endure an incredibly difficult trekking trip in the mountains in order to complete their expedition independently. This involved hiking, navigating and camping over the mountains for 4 days and the use of technology is strictly prohibited! Students also had to volunteer, learn a new skill and be physically active for a minimum of an hour each section per week, showing huge commitment over the two years.
